C	ChG xx on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Kirche ist eigentlich, wie üblich in unseren Breitengraden, eine Wehrkirche. Sie stand anfänglich außerhalb der Stadtmauern. Bewegend fand ich das "Beinhaus", rechts vor der Kirche, wo ein Blick auf einen "Haufen Knochen" möglich war. Zu Hunderten sah man dort Totenschädel und Gebeine, alles zwar sichtbar aber gut gesichert. Heute hat dort das Bürgerkorps Eggenburg Einzug gehalten. The church is actually, as usual in our latitudes, a fortified church. It was initially outside the city walls. I found the "ossuary" moving, on the right in front of the church, where a view of a "pile of bones" was possible. Hundreds of people saw skulls and bones there, all of which were visible but well secured. Today the Eggenburg Citizens Corps moved in there.

Liegt ganz nahe an der noch gut erhaltenen Stadtmauer, ehemaliger Sitz der Festung in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wonderful impressive Gothic church with Romanesque elements not far from the main square.
