★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muss man gesehen haben, im Außenbereich beim Friedhof befindet dich der sogenannte Totentanz in verschiedenen Bildern gemalt. Das original befindet sich im Innenbereich bevor man im unteren Bereich in das Gebeinhaus kommt.
You have to see, in the outside area at the cemetery there is the so-called dance of death painted in different pictures. The original is inside before entering the ossuary in the lower area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Schmuckstück im Ort Elbigenalp! Über den genauen Ursprung der Kirche, die dem Heiligen Nikolaus geweiht ist, ist nicht mehr bekannt, als dass sie den Mittelpunkt der Urpfarre "Lechtal"bildete, die erstmals 1312 urkundlich erwähnt wurde.
Ihr heutiges Erscheinungsbild bekam sie in den Jahren 1664-74, als sie nach den Plänen von Georg Falger in barockem Stil umgebaut wurde. Der Altarraum und der hohe, schlanke gotische Turm wurden dabei von der Vorgängerkirche übernommen.
A gem in Elbigenalp! About the exact origin of the church, which is dedicated to St. Nicholas, is no longer known as the center of the original parish "Lechtal" formed, which was first mentioned in documents in 1312.
It got its present appearance in the years 1664-74, when it was rebuilt in baroque style according to the plans of Georg Falger. The altar room and the tall, slender Gothic tower were taken over by the previous church.
