This church is one of the surprises when walking the Dunkelsteinerwald hiking trails. The DUR V2 route passes this place. A detour to the church itself is definitely worth it.

â â â â â Die Lage der Kirche ist oberhalb des Ortes Mauer bei Melk sehr schön. Die AuĂenansicht zeigt zwei interessante Baukörper, sich innen ĂŒberwiegend im barocken Stil prĂ€sentieren. Der hölzerne Altar ist wohl ein Highlight der Kirche, obwohl er schwierig als Gesamtkunstwerk zu erfassen ist.
The location of the church is very beautiful above the village of Mauer near Melk. The exterior view shows two interesting structures, the interior predominantly in the baroque style. The wooden altar is probably a highlight of the church, although it is difficult to grasp as a total work of art.
