★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der älteste Wallfahrtsort Österreichs. Auf dem Altar in der innerlich wunderschönen Kirche steht fast ein Tausend Jahre alte Statue der Gottesmutter Maria mi dem Kinde Jesus in den Händen. Die Statue wurde im Brunnen, neben der Kirche, von der heiligen Gisela († 1033), Schwester Kaiser Heinrichs II. des Heiligen († 1024) und Gattin des ungarischen Königs Stephan des Heiligen († 1038), gefunden.
The oldest place of pilgrimage in Austria. Almost a thousand-year-old statue of the Virgin Mary with the child Jesus is on the altar in the beautiful church. The statue was found in the fountain, next to the church, by Saint Gisela († 1033), sister of Emperor Henry II the Saint († 1024) and wife of the Hungarian king Stephen the Saint († 1038).
