Jahrhunderts wurde vermutlich Anfang des 14. Jahrhunderts um das Seitenschiff erweitert. An der Nordseite schließt die gotische Sakristei und der barocke Turm aus dem Jahre 1754 an. (Quelle: Wikipedia). Neben der Kirche befindet sich der älteste Karner Niederösterreichs. Das um 1150 errichtete Bauwerk ist einen Besuch wert. Leider sind Kirche und Karner meist versperrt, so das einen Innenbesichtigung nur selten möglich ist. The Catholic parish church of St. Veit is picturesquely situated on the mountain slope and - as was customary in the past - is surrounded by the cemetery. The Romanesque nave from the beginning of the 13th century was probably expanded to include the aisle at the beginning of the 14th century. On the north side is the Gothic sacristy and the baroque tower from 1754. (Source: Wikipedia). Next to the church is the oldest Karner in Lower Austria. The building erected around 1150 is worth a visit. Unfortunately, the church and Karner are mostly closed, so that an inside visit is rarely possible.

S	Stefan K. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Kirche, die leider nicht durchgehend geöffnet hat. Besonders ist das alte Kreuz auf der linken Mauer innerhalb der Kirche. Es stammt aus dem Holz der SMS Novara und hat damit bereits eine Weltumsegelung hinter sich. Beautiful church, which unfortunately is not open all the time. The old cross on the left wall inside the church is special. It comes from the wood of the SMS Novara and has already sailed around the world.
