Florian und seiner 40 Mitchristinnen und Mitchristen, die hier in Lauriacum im Jahre 304 das Martyrium erlitten haben, erläutert. Außerdem wird das Leben des Hl. Severin geschildert, der hier von 453 bis 482 segensreich gewirkt hat. Be sure to do a tour as well. It provides an overview of 1800 years of religious life. Wissenschaftlich ist er gut aufgebaut und könnte man ihn ohne Führung besuchen, wäre er auch sehr informativ - geht aber leider nicht und manche der Tour-Guides sind echt am falschen Platz eingesetzt. Wer hier Führungen abhält, sollte dem Ort - katholische Kirche - angepasstes Wissen mitbringen, sonst werden aus Worten Worthülsen. The part of the Upper Austrian State Exhibition 2018 that is located here hurts. It is scientifically well structured and if you could visit it without a guide, it would also be very informative - but unfortunately it does not work and some of the tour guides are really in the wrong place. Those who hold guided tours here should bring appropriate knowledge to the location - Catholic Church - otherwise words will turn into empty words.
