★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Pfarrkirche Schlitters ist dem hl. Martinus geweiht. Erstmalig urkundlich erwähnt wurde die Pfarrkirche im Jahr 1330 in der Schrift:
"Actum in Villa Sliters in ecclesia. Martini IV Id. Jan. Anno Domini MCCCXXX.
1740 wurde die gotische Kirche barockisiert. Durch eine Stiftung des Priesters Anton Kreuzweger wurde Schlitters 1769 zu einem Kurat - Benefizum erhoben.
1891wurde aus der Kuratie eine eigenständige Pfarre.
1833 - 1849 wurde die Kirche vergrößert, die Decken - und Wandgemälde mit wertlosen Bildern übermalt.
1954/55 wurden "Gott sei Dank" die alten sehr schönen Gemälde wieder frei gelegt und die Kirche im Inneren saniert.
Ein sehs schönes Altarbild schmückt den Hochaltar und auf der Außenwand der Kirche erstrahlt ein sehr schönes "Christopherus Fresko"
2007/2008 wurden weitere Restaurierungsarbeiten im größeren Umfang durchgeführt und konnte Ende Mai 2008 die Weihe der Kirche durch den damaligen Innsbrucker Bischof - abgeschlossen werden.
Eine sehr schöne Kirche inmitten von Schlitters mit einen sehr gepflegten Friedhof!
The Schlitters parish church is dedicated to St. Martinus consecrated. The parish church was first mentioned in a document in 1330 in the script:
"Actum in Villa Sliters in ecclesia. Martini IV Id. Jan. Anno Domini MCCCXXX.
In 1740 the Gothic church was redesigned in Baroque style. Schlitters was promoted to a curate benefit in 1769 through a donation from the priest Anton Kreuzweger.
In 1891 the curate became an independent parish.
Between 1833 and 1849 the church was enlarged and the ceiling and wall paintings were painted over with worthless pictures.
In 1954/55, "Thank God", the very beautiful old paintings were exposed again and the interior of the church was renovated.
A very beautiful altarpiece adorns the high altar and a very beautiful "Christopher fresco" shines on the outer wall of the church
In 2007/2008 further restoration work on a larger scale was carried out and the consecration of the church by the then Innsbruck bishop was completed at the end of May 2008.
A very beautiful church in the middle of Schlitters with a very well-kept cemetery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Csodálatos kis templom. Nagyon szépen rendezett a temetője is, tetszik az utca fronton festett hatalmas kinti freskó. Gyönyörű a belső látvány is, látszik mennyire figyelnek a helyiek a vallásra, a templomokra....
Szép és rendezett, s nagyon jó hogy mindenki előtt nyitva áll!
Wonderful little church. His cemetery is also very nicely arranged, I like the huge outdoor fresco painted on the street front. The interior is also beautiful, you can see how much the locals pay attention to religion, the churches ....
