★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die im gotischen Stil gehaltene Pestsäule ist eines der wertvollsten Denkmäler im östlichen Weinviertel.
In die gegen Norden gekehrte Tabernakelwand ist ein Hochrelief eingelassen, das einen Mann und eine Frau in einer vornehmen Tracht des 15./16.Jahrhunderts darstellt.
Eine der Relieffiguren an der Ostseite ist der Märtyrer Laurentius mit seinen Attributen, dem Rost und einem Buch in der Hand, der auch als Pestheiliger verehrt wurde.
Dieses Kleinod ist einen Besuch wert - am Besten in Kombination mit dem gotischen Wehrturm!
 The Gothic-style plague column is one of the most valuable monuments in the eastern Weinviertel.
A high relief is set into the north-facing tabernacle wall depicting a man and a woman in elegant costume from the 15th / 16th century.
One of the relief figures on the east side is the martyr Laurentius with his attributes, the rust and a book in his hand, who was also venerated as the plague saint.
This gem is worth a visit - ideally in combination with the Gothic defense tower!
