★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pain for early check-in as you have to bring luggage to another place up 20 steps 150m away if you need temporary storage. Which means if anything you need from the host, 150m and up 20 please. Not the most friendly host anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had most memorial time during our 2 weeks journey at Pension Hallberg, besides beautiful and convenient location, we felt great kindness and sense of humor from Mr.Winkelmann and Mrs.Winkelmann, the suite have astonished lakeside view right next to the lake, but what left in our memory is the images of host, we appreciated and hope we will be back in the near future.

Price - affordable
Older couple is perfect host and vital. Rooms are very clean. Fruits and sweets in the lobby. We got even a little present.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room is very comfortable and clean. The owners are really nice and are always open for questions. The City is the most beautiful place i have ever seen and the pension is located in the center, where you can find markets and restaurants.

-Good refrigerator
-Tab water is safe to drink
I arrived very late but it was accomodated very well, and the owner lady even made me a supper when i was wondering are there any restaurants open. The owners really put an effort to make me feel at home.
WIFI could be more reliable, speed was mostly ok but sometimes too slow. For me it wasn't big deal but it could be for business travellers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and cozy rooms, the owners are very kind and polite, also very helpful. There is everything you need in the kitchenette for cooking, so you don't need to bother bringing anything. The pension is very well located - even though it is a small town, indeed. I definitely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean rooms and friendly English speaking owners. Lift just installed to 2nd floor rooms. Downside is they only take cash no matter how many days or rooms you book and it's € notes only, no cards of any sort. Also the local supermarket is closed till 18Jan2022 so nearest is in the next town of Obertraun, a sort bus ride. However, local bakery has good choice of bread and buns.
