A simple, very well-kept and, above all, clean pension.
The staff or the owner's daughter is very accommodating and incredibly friendly!
Definitely recommended for travellers!
Definitely know where I'll sleep next time I'm in Vienna.
Thank you again for the great hospitality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi everyone, I want to make sure whoever is considering coming here is aware of all experiences at Pension Erlaa, especially if it’s your first time visiting Vienna. I came with my grandmother who had visited Vienna before about 6 years ago, we are from the U.S, she’s 78 years old now. There are sensor lights in the lobby that ended up turning on as my grandmother fell going down the stairs near the entrance (it was dark outside already). We turned on the lights in the hall and there was some lighting in the stair well- the lights turn on and off- even when going up the stairs too if it’s not sensing motion as you’re walking. Therefore, it’s a major potential for physical injury that Pension Erlaa needs to take responsibility for. No elevator either as you can see in their description. Anyways, management got defensive when we asked to leave and get a full refund. We had only been there for about 3 hours or so in total, so we didn’t even spend one night. No towels, we asked twice- you have to go down the stair well to ring a bell to get assistance. They were very rude, raising their voices- especially a man who kept interfering while management was talking and saying it was my grandmother’s fault for falling and that there are light switches in America. He also told her to walk on it and push through the pain because he hurts himself often and does that. He was roughly mid 40’s and my grandmother is nearly 80 years old. Ridiculous. It was astonishing to see that his involvement was permitted, and how they treated first time guests, especially given the circumstance at hand. The man was cursing at my grandmother as we were leaving and so of course we wanted to leave even more at that point. No assitance, apology or compromise was offerred. We called our booking company and were only given only 2 nights refund for our 8 night stay per the decision given by Pension Erlaa. We left not only due to the poor treatment by staff, but also due to our events being far away for my grandmother to walk on a swollen ankle and now needing a hotel with an elevator. Needless to say, this place lacks integrity, they are unorganized and appear very inexperienced/unprofessional. They don’t consider the needs of their guests and are much more money oriented. Right now, we are lucky. We got an amazing deal, not that much more expensive, to stay at a different hotel in a much safer neighborhood (near Stephanplatz) - also closer to all of Vienna’s famous landmarks. They are wonderful and brought ice/towels for my grandmothers swollen ankle. I’d recommend coming to this area if you’re looking for a welcoming & safe environment. There’s a lot of immediate support and staff is very kind/accommodating. Super disappointed with the poor customer service at Pension Erlaa. If I could give no stars, I would. Please consider my review and look into all your options so you can receive the best customer care while visiting Vienna. I’m writing this so no one else potentially goes through what we did and instead has the experience that’s deserved. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, we had really great time here. Everything was clean and neat and comfy. Breakfast was delicious, not too many options, but just enough.
Rooms are cleaned every day. There is a hairdryer. Really great, just enough table space in the room for your stuff, and also two chairs.
There are parking spaces in the front.
Staff is very, very friendly.
U-bahn station is about 10 minutes walk away, and the city center is about 40 minutes train ride away. Seems a lot, but it's fine. Also, there is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice pension close from the train station, supermarket and restaurants. The staff is composed by lovely and helpful persons, and the breakfast is simple but really good.
We had some small issues on the room (such as clogged sink and lack of shower soap), but our stay was pretty good.
I strongly recommend!
