★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Zillertalhof is a great place to stay. And then skipasses and equipment from Intersport at the base of the penken cable car. Then there are plenty of bars and eateries with robust Austrian food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Challenging resort with lots of slopes. Lots of choices for restaurants and bars, even on the mountain. Well organized lifts, but with mediocre signs. You better be able to read a map to come here. I used one of the snowboarding schools here, and they had us on a medium difficulty course on our second day.

We used Ski Pro Austria to rent our ski kit and the lessons.
The instructor was Rumen and he was brilliant! Very patient, started with easy stuff&arm up as we were total beginners.
