K	Karl Plasser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schönes Plätzchen hoch über Linz mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Oberösterreichische Landeshauptstadt. Leider ist das Lokal so gut besucht, dass es der Wirt nicht nötig hatte, wenigstens grundlegendste Höflichkeit walten zu lassen. Wir waren gestern, 05.09.2021, dort und wollten Getränke bestellen. Das kam einem Gnadenakt gleich. Mehrfach wandte sich der Wirt mitten unter der Bestellung weg um mit anderen Gästen ein Schwätzchen zu halten, andere Bestellungen aufzunehmen, Rechnungen zu kassieren oder einfach wegzugehen. Als wir dann doch einmal um Aufmerksamkeit baten, beschied er uns, dass er macht, was ihm richtig erscheint, nicht was die Kunden wollen. - Das steht ihm zu, aber ich muss mir das nicht bieten lassen. Schade, ich wäre gerne wieder gekommen. Very nice place high above Linz with a wonderful view of the Upper Austrian capital. Unfortunately, the restaurant is so busy that the landlord didn't have to be at least the most basic of courtesy. We were there yesterday, September 5th, 2021 and wanted to order drinks. It was like an act of grace. Several times the host turned away in the middle of the order to have a chat with other guests, take other orders, collect bills or simply go away. When we asked for attention, he told us that he was doing what he thought was right, not what the customers wanted. - He's entitled to it, but I don't have to accept that. What a shame, I would have loved to come back.

Chef war gestern ein bissi grantig, so kennt man ihn kaum? leider hat auch meine Begleitung nicht viel Freude mit den Hascheeknödeln gehabt? war wohl der falsche Tag! A wonderful place in the sun! The boss was a bit grumpy yesterday, so you hardly know him? unfortunately my companion didn’t have much fun with the hash dumplings either? it was probably the wrong day!

Real home cooking, fair prices, good selection of beer and wine, friendly service. An inn as it used to be, the way it should be.
