★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good homemade quality pasta. Good variety of pasta which you can also purchase and take home with you.
Daily menu only and limited to one pasta dish (usually very good) and one ravioli dish - not a place for the picky.
Ravioli have more or less the same taste with any filling, but not bad at all if you're into ravioli - not so much myself.
Nice venue but very damp inside.
Crowded at lunch time (obviously) and during the summer sitting outside is nearly impossible as all tables are usually booked.
Worth going if you have pasta cravings every now and then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great, simple place. Every day there are two different pasta dishes to choose from. Always delicious, always one veggie option and one with meat. Great anti pasti and a good, very reasonably priced house wine. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly. Seating available inside and outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasta e Basta is definitely one of the best places in Vienna to get Pasta. The food is always amazing and the service very friendly and personal, even if they have a full house.
Each day, they have one meat-based and one vegetarian dish (secret tip: you can also get half-half ;) ) and a wonderful assortment of antipasti.
It is sometimes not easy to predict whether the place is full or not, so better book in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very busy lunch place with a limited menu, but it did not disappoint! They offer a splitsky deal where you can get both distinct specials! Fresh, handmade pasta - with one vegetarian and one meat to choose from.
Things to note - small, crowded with high top shared table. We made it work and it was worth it!
