Der See selbst: wunderschön. What can I say: a parking lot. Maximum of 7 € point. You shouldn't be late ... Alternatively, you can take a little train from Tannheim to the lake. The lake itself: beautiful.

Wer gerne Fisch isst, sollte eine Forelle probieren. Aber auch alle anderen Gerichte, die wir probiert hatten, sind liebevoll zubereitet. Absolute Empfehlung! We have been there several times now. If you want to round off this beautiful experience, go to the Gasthof zum Vilsalpsee. You will be served very well. The kitchen is very fine. Those who like to eat fish should try a trout. But all the other dishes that we tried were also lovingly prepared. Absolute recommendation!

Immer einen Besuch wert! Und eine Fahrt mit der kleinen Bimmelbahn ist ein Muss... It was a wonderful day. The lake invites you to take a walk. It's a shame that you can no longer go around it. Seit kurzem ist die Zufahrt zum Vilsalpsee von 10.00 -17.00 Uhr mit einer Schranke gesperrt. Tagesticket für Inhaber eines Schwerbehinterten Ausweises mit G + H Bein Fremdenverkehrsamt erhältlich Magnificent mountain panorama and the crystal-clear lake (in summer) always beautiful. The access to the Vilsalpsee from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. has recently been blocked with a barrier. Day ticket available for holders of a severely disabled ID card with the G + H Bein tourist office

T	TH3 TR/\V1R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's pretty much closed. Due to new regulations for the natural reserve, you can only enter before 8:00 or after 17:00, otherwise the road is closed. Probably will be completely shut down at a later point. You have to walk to the lake or take the tourist carriage from the town center.
