I	Irene Reichl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Anforderung an Fahrzeug und Fahrer um diesen Ort zu erreichen sind nicht ganz ohne aber bei entsprechend vorsichtiger Fahrweise durchaus machbar. Dafür sind es von diesem Parkplatz nur noch 300 Hm zur Berthahütte und man spart sich die Kraft für den anstrengenden Aufstieg zum Mittagskogel. The requirement for the vehicle and driver to reach this place are not entirely without but in accordance with careful driving quite feasible. But it is only 300 Hm from the parking lot to the Berthahütte and you save the strength for the strenuous climb to Mittagskogel.
P	Philipp Schneider on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos, aber klein und somit schnell voll. Zeitig erscheinen! Die Straße ist für Autos mit durchschnittlicher Bodenfreiheit passierbar, bei Trockenheit ist auch Allradantrieb nicht notwendig. Anti-Schlupf-Regelung vorher deaktivieren und konzentriert im 1. oder 2. Gang hochfahren! Problematisch ist lediglich Gegenverkehr, vor allem, da Ausweichstellen teils zugeparkt sind. The parking lot is free, but small and therefore quickly full. Appear early! The road is passable for cars with average ground clearance, and four-wheel drive is not necessary in dry conditions. Deactivate anti-slip control beforehand and drive up concentrated in 1st or 2nd gear! The only problem is oncoming traffic, especially since alternative points are partially parked.
T	Thomas Gartner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spannender, sehr steiniger und des öfteren mit tieferen spurrinnen durchsetzter langer auffahrtsweg ab ende der Ortschaft bis zum Parkpkatz. Platz vor Ort für 15-20 Autos. Würde die Straße nur bei Trockenen Verhältnissen befahren UND hoffen auf keinen gegenverkehr da einige längere Teilstrecken Einbahnbreite haben. Einer muss dann bis zur nächsten breiteren Straßenstelle retourschieben. Der Parkplatz ersparrt einem mindestens 1h Fußmarsch bis zur Bertahütte. Allrad ist vorteilhaft aber kein muss. Langsam(er) und vorsichtig bergauf fahren dann klappts auch mit normalen Pkw's Tiefergelegte Fahrzeuge - keine chance. Exciting, very rocky and often long driveway interspersed with deep ruts from the end of the village to the parking lot. Space on site for 15-20 cars. The road would only be used in dry conditions AND hope for no oncoming traffic as some longer stretches are one-way width. One then has to push back to the next wider street. The car park saves you at least an hour's walk to the Bertahütte. All-wheel drive is advantageous but not a must. Drive slowly (more) and carefully uphill then it works with normal cars Lowered vehicles - no chance.
M	Manu_Villach on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parkplatz ist eigentlich nur mit einem Geländewagen erreichbar, weil es auf dem Weg dort hin zwei Passagen gibt, die extrem uneben sind. Da kommt man nicht mit jedem Auto drüber. Wer aber früh genug dran ist bekommt nur knapp 20 Gehminuten weiter unten einen schönen Parkplatz. Mit meinem Swift und Frontantrieb bin ich nicht zu dem Parkplatz gekommen, wegen der zwei sehr tiefen Passagen. Habe davor umgedreht und bin ein kurzes Stück wieder herunter zum anderen Parkplatz. “Früh” bedeutet, dass um 8 Uhr (Es war Mitte August) bereits fast alles auf dem befahrbaren Weg dorthin voll war. The parking lot can only be reached with an off-road vehicle because there are two passages on the way that are extremely uneven. You can't get over that with every car. But if you get there early enough, you will find a nice parking lot just a 20-minute walk further down. With my Swift and front-wheel drive I couldn't get to the parking lot because of the two very deep passages. Before that I turned around and went back down a short distance to the other parking lot. “Early” means that at 8 o'clock (it was mid-August) almost everything on the navigable way there was already full.
V	Verena on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaum befahrbar außer mit Geländewagen. Tiefe ausgewaschene Stellen. Achtung, die Reifen könnten durch die großen bzw. spitzen Steine beschädigt werden. Besser unten parken und die Stunde zu Fuß gehen. Hardly passable except with an off-road vehicle. Deep washed out spots. Caution, the tires could be damaged by the large or sharp stones. Better park downstairs and walk the hour.
R	Roman Fink on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Aufstieg zur Bertahütte durch den Wald ist anspruchsvoll aber wunderschön. In die Hütte einzukehren ist Pflicht und wird mit ausgezeichneter Almküche belohnt. Leider konnten wir wegen Regen den Mittagskogel nicht erobern, aber beim 2ten Versuch klappt es sicher. The ascent to the Bertahütte through the forest is challenging but beautiful. Coming to the hut is a must and will be rewarded with excellent alpine cuisine. Unfortunately we could not conquer the Mittagskogel due to rain, but it will work for the second try.
A	Andreas Paletti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleiner Parkplatz zum Start für die Wanderung auf den Mittagskogel oder zur Bertahütte. Die Strasse rauf ist relativ schlecht. Also nichts für Coupes oder Limousinen. Am besten mit 4X4 ☺️ Small parking lot at the start for the hike to the Mittagskogel or to the Bertahütte. The road up is relatively bad. So nothing for coupes or sedans. Preferably with 4X4 ☺️
J	Joel Van Hoorde on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Weg zum Parkplatz ist größtenteils befahrbar. Die Qualität des Schotterwegs allerdings schlecht. Leider sorgen einige ausgewaschene Rinnen dafür, dass der Weg für normale PKW, Camper und ähnliches quasi nicht machbar ist. Entlang des Weges zum Parkplatz gibt es einige Buchten, die daher schon früh von parkenden Autos besetzt sind. Nach 8 Uhr schwinden die Chancen einen der wenigen Plätze entlang des Weges zu ergattern. Wer dann den Rückweg antreten muss, um weiter unten zu parken, muss auf der engen einspurigen Fahrbahn mit Gegenverkehr rechnen. Most of the way to the parking lot is passable. The quality of the gravel road, however, is bad. Unfortunately, some washed-out gullies mean that the path is practically impossible for normal cars, campers and the like. There are a few bays along the way to the parking lot, which are therefore occupied by parked cars early on. After 8 a.m. the chances of getting hold of one of the few places along the way dwindle. If you have to go back to park further down, you have to expect oncoming traffic on the narrow, single-lane carriageway.
