Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen, z.B. zum Steinermandl und zu den Neualplseen. Auch einige bewirtschaftete Hütten sind hier zu finden. Up to here one comes over public roads to the Faschingsalm or also in the proximity of the Zettersfeld. Very good starting point for many walks, e.g. to the Steinermandl and the Neualplseen. Also some managed huts are to be found here.

Liftstation und Restaurant sind auch dort. meistens wenig los. entspannter Aussichtspunkt. The best starting point for all ski tours in the direction of Schleinitz - Debant Valley in winter. Plenty of parking space available. The lift station and restaurant are also there. mostly little going on. relaxed vantage point.

Leider sind immer sehr viele Autos dort, weil dieser Ort bei schönem Wetter für viele der Ausgangspunkt für unvergessliche Wanderungen oder Schifahrten oder auch Schitouren ist. Vor allem, wenn die Hochnebeldecke das Tal kühl und finster lässt und man oberhalb von strahlendem Sonnenschein verwöhnt wird. Vom angrenzenden Schi- und Wandergebiet "Zettersfeld" hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht über den Lienzer Talboden auf die gegenüber liegenden Lienzer Dolomiten mit einer Fernsicht bis zu den Südtiroler Dolomiten im Südwesten und zu den Julischen Alpen und Karawanken im Südosten. Nach Westen sieht man die Defregger Alpen, im Osten die Kreuzeckgruppe. Obwohl leider keine Lifte in Betrieb waren, war es ein erinnerungwürdiger Tag. Easily accessible, lots of space. Unfortunately, there are always a lot of cars there, because when the weather is nice, this place is the starting point for many unforgettable hikes, ski trips or ski tours. Especially when the foggy blanket leaves the valley cool and dark and you are pampered above by bright sunshine. From the adjacent skiing and hiking area "Zettersfeld" one has a breathtaking view over the Lienz valley floor to the Lienz Dolomites opposite with a distant view to the South Tyrolean Dolomites in the southwest and to the Julian Alps and Karawanken in the southeast. To the west you can see the Defregger Alps, to the east the Kreuzeck group. Although unfortunately no lifts were in operation, it was a day to remember.
M	Mi Pa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da questo posti partono diversi sentieri, alcuni salgono in altura verso Steinermandl e verso il Goiselemandl. Da qui si lascia l'auto. Several trails start from here, some of them go up to Steinermandl and Goiselemandl. From here you can leave the car.
F	F vH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 14/03/2022 middagje skiën. Mooie locatie en een leuke rit naar boven. Ondanks zonnige warme weer (in Lienz 15 graden) toch nog redelijk goede sneeuw. Sneeuwkanonnen, fraaie stoeltjesliften en paar gezellige terrassen/restaurants. Makkelijke afdalingen. Skipas/parkeer automaat (met pin) en parkeren (gratis met skipas) direct onderaan de piste. 14/03/2022 afternoon skiing. Nice location and a nice drive up. Despite sunny warm weather (in Lienz 15 degrees) still fairly good snow. Snow cannons, beautiful chairlifts and a few cozy terraces/restaurants. Easy descents. Ski pass/parking machine (with pin) and parking (free with ski pass) directly at the bottom of the slopes.
