This was our third visit, and everything was as excellent as ever. Very polite and friendly management and staff, excellent service at all times, delicious food and everything spotlessly clean. We love the pool and spa too. Conveniently located for the town, ski slopes and walking routes. We will be back.

Impression from the point of view of the Generation Y and maybe Z. Classic Olympic Games 60/70ies built Spa & Wellness hotel with the main repeat clientele from this generation. Which is the tricky part for every family run hotel business . This generation will reduce travel year by year, more and more and the transition to built up a next generation repeater customer clientele is the main KPI for the management. Some parts of the rooms and house (spa area) have been renovated, some are urgently due (e.g. gym area). If a customer requests a quiet room it's a brave decision of the management to put this client into a room above the outdoor restaurant seating as well as next to a children's family room. The room itself is spacious with a renovated bathroom. No blackout blinds despite a bright light facing the house shines full way into the room during the night. No kettle or coffee maker facility in a 4* house, which I haven't seen in my past 200 hotel visits. If this would be available in a suite I can't understand this to be an amenity to charge for. No iron board or ironing provided, once requested a dirty ironing was given to me. The times where the housewife's irons the husband's shirts and packs them nicely into a large suitcase have unfortunately passed. . Pool opening times are fair(ish) (7-19:30) while the sauna opening times is not worth mentioning for a spa hotel (16:30-19:30). The jacuzzi is a hit and miss. Once open once closed. pH value alarm is blinking btw. The house itself has a nice charme throughout. Dinner is served in the indoor dining room despite outdoor seating provided. Dining outside as a half board guest however is not an Option, being in a pandemic it's difficult to understand. Some seats are facing the garden lighting which makes it utterly disturbing and bright in the eye. Dinner itself is a basic price conscious meal of several courses. Without any choice the plates are prepared during the day which makes the sashimi glue to the plate, the noodles overcooked (if eaten later then proposed dinner start) and the apricots on the dessert plate dry. As an vegetarian you will get the main course without the meat, basically a side dish meal on full charge. The transition to a e.g. family friendly hotel, without any restrictions of the amount of people allowed in the pool (pool size 40qm? Current covid regulations allow 1person/10qm, makes it difficult for the three swimmers of the pretty large pool with a current swimming training options to cope with the jump in of a family with 5 children. 8 people in the pool and nobody cares about the current regulations.)or a standard spa and wellness hotel, sportive Activity etc. However another clientele generation has maybe other standards. I have stayed in worse hotels, but also in much better ones.
