An amazing historical texture!
The Vienna Opera House (Wiener Staatsoper) is one of Europe's major cultural and artistic centers with its history dating back to the mid-19th century. In this article of PSM Blog, we wanted to examine the unique building with its deep-rooted history and what it contains.
The building, whose construction started in 1861 and completed in 1869, was designed by the world-famous Czech architect Josef Hlávka to reflect the Neo-Renaissance style. On the opening night of May 25, 1869, Mozart's Don Giovanni was staged.
