★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Ruine Ödes Schloss bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick von oben in das naturbelassene Kamptal ? Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen zur Ruine empfehle ich das EVN Kraftwerk Rosenburg oder das Stift Altenburg. Vom Stift her leichter zu begehen sind die Wege mit kleinen Kindern nur bedingt empfehlenswert. Für ausgedehnte Wanderungen vom Startpunkt Kraftwerk führt der Weg bis in die nächste Ortschaft Steinegg und auf der südlichen Kamptalseite wieder retour über den „Hängenden Stein“ und die EVN Staumauer Rosenburg zurück zum Kraftwerk. Dafür würde ich gemütliche 6 Stunden veranschlagen!
The ruin Ödes Castle offers a wonderful view from the top into the natural Kamptal ? As a starting point for hikes to the ruins, I recommend the power plant Rosenburg or Altenburg. Easier to walk from the pen are the ways with small children only partially recommended. For extended hikes from the starting point Kraftwerk, the trail leads you to the next village of Steinegg and on the southern Kamptal side back via the "Hanging Stone" and the EVN dam Rosenburg back to the power plant. For that I would estimate cozy 6 hours!
