(no e-mail, no phone calls) We had to wait in the cold for hours. There were no apologies when we arrived at the desk. The “housekeeper” simply replied “Such is Life.”
W	Wei-feng Lin (Scott) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed one night, checked in is easy and stuff were very anticipating, price is considered fair in my opinion but only one power outlet in the room and it is quite easy to hear from the next room, also room#15 window felt like it’s coming off. I cannot complain much because we actually sleep quite alright thanks to the quiet town and great weather. Breakfast next day was simple and good. Overall I’d recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable overnight when you visit Hallstätt.

(I felt so sorry from them , because I didn't notice that reception isn't 24hrs ) Then late we asked to change the room . They showed us and let us changed .Which was nice . Also, I was satisfied for my breakfast . Some reviews said they were disappointed to their breakfast . But I wasn't. There's not much choice to choose is true . You get toast and bread , some kind of cake . Cucumber, tomato,butter ,cheese,ham . various jam and yogurts . Coffee , tea and tea . But it was totally enough for me .
Y	Yanni G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at this guesthouse for 3 nights and I wouldn't stay again for the price I paid. The guesthouse and its content is run down. The rooms are OVERPRICED for what they offer. Toilet was OK. Breakfast is also OK, you will see your classic jam, butter, tea, coffee, ham, cheese, yogurt, cereal and eggs. When we entered the room we noticed hair on the bed sheets. It was clear that no cleaning was done after the previous guests checked-out. The receptionist barely spoke any English but we managed to communicate and the sheets were changed. I don't think the people who run this place actually own it, they must be simply offered to stay there for free but in return they have to maintain the guesthouse and deal with the guests. That is the only explanation I can give to the laziness (in terms of housekeeping) of the hosts, otherwise they have simply given up. The WiFi signal is very very poor. You simply can not use it.

Nobody was there when we arrived within reception hour. They just put the key on the counter. I booked a superior family room but turned out I got a basic double room. I didn't raise this up because the reception guy wasn't there and we were tired and just want to settle down quickly. Room was basic but spacious and the furniture looks dated. View from the balcony was beautiful. Sofa doesn't fit well in the common area, it was too long and overlap with some doors. Heating doesn't work very well. Breakfast was basic. I was expecting more with that price.
