Great and interesting / informative museum on fire and the history of the fire department, unfortunately comparatively small would be even better on more space.

Nicht nur für "Feuerwehrfrauen und Feuerwehrmänner" empfehlenswert, sondern auch für absolute Laien wie mich ??!!!!! Sehenswertes Programm für die ganze Familie... Werde selber nochmal hingehen... Für Kinder bis 7 Jahre Eintritt frei.... Nicht lange überlegen, sondern hingehen... Jacke anziehen, die Räume sind momentan noch etwas kühl... Suuuuper, built really great, take time, because there is a lot to see .. Unbelievable attention to detail .. Not only recommended for "firefighters and firefighters", but also for absolute amateurs like me ?? !!!!! Attractions program for the whole family ... Will go again ... For children up to 7 years free admission .... Do not think long, but go ... put on jacket, the rooms are currently a bit cool ...

Haben auch wieder den letzten Ausstellungstag am 31.10.2020 für einen Familienausflug genützt und ich weiß dass es im Mai 21, wenn wieder geöffnet wird, wieder hingehen wird. Leider lässt das Platzproblem keine Erweiterung mit (Groß-)fahrzeugen mehr zu. Aber jedes Feuerwehrmitglied sollte mal dort gewesen sein. Aber auch für Laien sicher interessant und lernreich. Been there many times. With the changing special exhibitions always interesting and worth a trip. We also used the last day of the exhibition on October 31, 2020 for a family outing and I know that it will be possible again in May 21, when it reopens. Unfortunately, the space problem does not allow expansion with (large) vehicles. But every fire brigade member should have been there. But certainly interesting and educational for laypeople too.
B	Bernd Breit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind heute 130km nach Sankt Florian gefahren, um uns das Feuerwehrmuseum anzuschauen. Nachdem wir uns im Internet und auch vor Ort nach den Öffnungszeiten erkundigt haben, hat das Museum nicht um 14 Uhr geöffnet. Auch nach 20 min. war es immer noch geschlossen. Die Garage im Hof und der Museumsausgang war geöffnet, nur der Zugang durch ein großes Tor versperrt. In der Tür steckte der Schlüssel. Die Fahrt war umsonst, mein Sohn absolute ?. Von uns gibt es hier keine Empfehlung! Absoluter Reinfall im Urlaub, da wir dafür umsonst 260km gefahren sind. Ich kann nur hoffen, daß die Feuerwehr auch bei einem Notruf hier kommt, denn wenn man nach den Öffnungszeiten geht??? Übrigens waren wir nicht die einzigen Besucher, die sich das Museum anschauen wollten. Today we drove 130km to Sankt Florian to see the fire department museum. The garage in the courtyard and the museum exit were open, only access blocked by a large gate. The key was in the door. The trip was free, my son absolutely ?. There is no recommendation from us here! Absolute failure on vacation, because we drove 260km for free. I can only hope that the fire brigade will also come here for an emergency call, because if you go after the opening times ??? By the way, we weren't the only visitors who wanted to see the museum.
