Der See wirkt nicht tief wenn man ankommt und ihn sieht aber wenn man auf dem floß ist und die Stange davon hinunter ins Wasser drückt merkt man das die 2,50m was diese ca ist nicht an den Boden kommt. Wir vermuten das er um die 4m tief ist. Das Wasser ist glasklar, es gibt keine Fische sondern es leben nur schwarze wassermolche darin was die Temperatur, wo im Sommer ca. 4-5 Grad sein dürften schon erklärt warum. Dieser See ist ein kleines Juwel in der Natur und wird nicht so oft von Touristen angesteuert als andere was ihn wieder besonders macht wenn man die Natur genießen möchte. Beautiful view, somewhat hidden but wonderful. The lake does not look deep when you arrive and you can see it but when you are on the raft and pushing the rod down into the water you notice that the 2.50m is not coming to the bottom. We suspect that it is around 4m deep. The water is crystal clear, there are no fish but only black water pigs live in what the temperature, where in summer about 4-5 degrees should explain why. This lake is a little gem in nature and is not visited by tourists as often as others, which makes it special when you want to enjoy nature.

Die Wanderung dorthin lohnt trotzdem, weil die Umgebung ein herrliches Wandergebiet ist. The lake is almost dried up, i. more than a cloudy puddle no longer exists. The hike there is still worthwhile, because the environment is a wonderful hiking area.

r	rat thol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne, ca. 1h Wanderung auf einer Forststrasse vom Mühlenstüberl in Obergail. Mit Kindern ggf. 1,5h! Auf dem Weg zum See kommt man an einem Klettersteigausstieg (Einstieg Wasserfall unterhalb ausgeschildert) vorbei. Geht am Weg mal links ab. Der Klettersteig lässt sich mit Ausrüstung inkl. Helm auch mit Kindern ab ca. 8 Jahren begehen. Weiter unten sieht man eine in den Fels gehauene Madonna. An dem sehr kleinem See liegt ein kleines Floss. Beautiful, about 1 hour hike on a forest road from Mühlenstüberl in Obergail. With children if necessary 1,5h! On the way to the lake you come to a via ferrata (entrance waterfall signposted below) over. Go left on the way. The via ferrata can be done with equipment incl. Helmet also with children from about 8 years. Below you can see a Madonna carved into the rock. At the very small lake is a small raft.

I	Ines S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöner See. Allerdings hatten wir einen "größeren" See erhofft. Sehr schöne Aussicht! Der Aufstieg war allerdings schon sehr "zach" ? lohnt sich aber jedenfalls! Very nice lake. However, we had hoped for a "larger" lake. Very beautiful view! The ascent was very "slow" ? but definitely worth it!
