The location is 'majestic'. The food was fresh (often straight from their farm) and tasty and the rooms large, ensuite, with balconies and views

The location is stunning, waking to those mountains every day is impossible to describe - you need to experience it.
the hosts, Keith and Manu are fantastic - great breakfasts and evening meals, always happy to help plan your days with the help of of their intimate local knowledge and they even let you have a look around the farm!
I'd recommend stopping here to anyone and everyone, and have been doing for 3 years!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely place to stay! Manuela and Keith are perfect hosts. Most products for breakfast were fresh from the farm - the milk, yoghurt and jams were home made and gorgeous! The rooms are very traditional but offer everything what you need. Comfortable beds and wonderful views of the mountains like the "Wilder Kaiser". Also when you combine it with "upanddown" mountain biking, it is the perfect place to stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful stay our party of 7 had at Oberachenhof, the sweet bed and breakfast in Ellmau. Keith and Manuela were wonderful hosts, making us feel at home. We woke up to a great breakfast and within a few minutes were at the Scheffau Gondola. The location couldn't have been more convenient. Looking forward to returning.
