★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am 10. September, gegen Mittag, waren meine Gattin und ich mit unserem PKW auf der A 1, Richtungsfahrbahn Wien unterwegs. Kurz vor dem Knoten Voralpenkreuz bemerkte ich leichte Unregelmäßigkeiten beim Beschleunigen des Wagens. Wenige Kilometer später sah ich im Rückspiegel eine schwarze Rauchwolke. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt befanden wir uns auf der 3. Spur und es war höchste Zeit auf den Pannenstreifen zu wechseln. Was aber wegen des sehr starken LKW-Verkehrs nicht einfach war. Zu unserem Glück war einige Meter weiter eine Pannenbucht. Dort hielt ich den Wagen an. Als ich den Motor abstellte, heulte dieser noch einmal besorgniserregend auf und eine riesige, schwarze Rauchwolke kam aus dem Auspuff.
Der zu Hilfe gerufene ÖAMTC Pannenhelfer war innerhalb von ca. 30 Minuten vor Ort. Der Wagen wurde verladen und zum ÖAMTC Stützpunkt Micheldorf verbracht. Der „Gelbe Engel“, Herr Lukas Winter war äußerst freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Einfach vorbildlich. Auf solche Mitarbeiter kann man sehr stolz sein.
Wir wünschen allen Mitarbeitern und ganz besonders Herrn Winter, ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und ein gutes Neues Jahr. Vor allem aber in dieser schweren Zeit Gesundheit.
 On September 10th, around noon, my wife and I were driving our car on the A1, direction Vienna. Shortly before the junction Voralpenkreuz I noticed slight irregularities when accelerating the car. A few kilometers later I saw a cloud of black smoke in the rearview mirror. At this point we were on the 3rd lane and it was high time to switch to the hard shoulder. But that wasn't easy because of the very heavy truck traffic. Fortunately for us, there was a breakdown bay a few meters away. I stopped the car there. When I switched off the engine, it howled worryingly again and a huge, black cloud of smoke came out of the exhaust pipe.
The ÖAMTC breakdown assistant called for help was on site within approx. 30 minutes. The car was loaded and taken to the ÖAMTC base in Micheldorf. The "yellow angel", Mr. Lukas Winter was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Simply exemplary. You can be very proud of such employees.
We wish all employees, and especially Mr. Winter, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. But above all, health in these difficult times.

Konnte den Fehler nicht finden.
Seine Vermutung des Schadens war mehr als falsch.
Die Werkstatt behob den Fehler binnen 2 Min. und zwar dauerhaft.
Hab schon mehrmals die Hilfe von ÖAMTC in Anspruch genommen, diesmal jedoch den falschen erwischt... Mittlerweile das 2.x innerhalb 3 Jahren.
Instead of helping, there was teaching.
Couldn't find the bug.
His guess of the damage was more than wrong.
The workshop fixed the error within 2 minutes and permanently.
Have already called on the help of ÖAMTC several times, but this time caught the wrong one ... Now the 2.x within 3 years.
