★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is so beautiful! A bit dim, but you can clearly see everything on your table, also really nice design details! Coffee is simply amazing. I recommend trying flavoured caffé latte, I had coconut and it was just.. wow. I'd definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed opposite News Cafe for 5 days, had my first beer in Vienna there and breakfast every day.
The omelette is incredible. I know. It is just an omelette. But it is different to how the English do it. The cheese is on the omelette and the omelette then folded over meaning the cheese gets stringy and melted. It's just so good. I can't wait to go back to Vienna soon and go back there!!

Decided to stop by here for breakfast, had the American style and the waitress was very accommodating to substitute the bread and croissant for yoghurt and fruit. The fruit was so fresh, wonderfully presented and scrambled eggs are very good quality. Great coffee too. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a breakfast, terrible experience. Perhaps because we were foreigners, and they reserve polite treatment for locals.
- Staff gave us no attention, finally when we asked for a table for two they said sit anywhere.
- All dishes were brought together, so coffee had turned lukewarm
- When we asked for the check and gave our credit card, the hostess was shockingly rude and snapped "you should've told me you wanted to pay by card". And then she left in a huff to get the card machine. We were very taken aback at this unpleasant behaviour
-To top off the bad start to our Friday morning, she told us tips are not included. Well, after such disgraceful service we had no inclination to tip her so we declined. She started questioning us on why, did you not like something, are you sure etc. Simply put, she was a bully.
Needless to say, we left and decided never to come back here again.
Stay away if you're not a local. They don't seem to like foreigners too much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take cover from the rain in, coffee was excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful.
I recommend the News Breakfast, everything was delicious. A cozy Atmosphere, complimentary wifi, and great playlist really round out the experience.
