L	Leonie Harry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gut erhaltende Burg, allerdings nur von außen anzusehen. Man kann um die Burg herumgehen und hat dabei immer wieder eine schöne Aussicht. Also ein netter, kurzer Spaziergang. Weg ist allerdings sehr schmal, und daher ist mit Kindern Vorsicht geboten, ebenfalls für Menschen die leicht schwindelig werden. Nicht Rollstuhl geeignet! Mit dem Auto kommt man relativ nahe heran und hat beim letzten Stück zu Fuß noch eine kurze Steigung zu bewältigen. Well-preserved castle, but only to be seen from the outside. You can walk around the castle and always have a beautiful view. So a nice short walk. However, the path is very narrow, so caution is advised with children, also for people who are easily dizzy. Not suitable for wheelchairs! You can get relatively close by car and on the last stretch you have to climb a short incline.

P	Peter Markl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Burg Neulengbach war eine Höhenburg auf einem freistehenden und rund 80 m hohem Bergkegel über der niederösterreichischen Stadt Neulengbach, die im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert zu einem Schloss umgebaut wurde. Im Jänner 1912 wütete ein Brand im Schloss. Dabei wurde die gesamte Innenausstattung zerstört. 1920 erwarb die Gemeinde Wien das Schloss und nutzte es als Kinderheim. 1952 folgt der Schloßverein Neulengbach als Besitzer, und 1962 Martin Wakonig. Neulengbach Castle was a hilltop castle on a free-standing and around 80 m high mountain cone above the Lower Austrian town of Neulengbach, which was converted into a castle in the 16th and 17th centuries. In January 1912 a fire raged in the castle. The entire interior was destroyed. In 1920 the municipality of Vienna acquired the castle and used it as a children's home. In 1952 the Neulengbach Castle Association followed as owner, and in 1962 Martin Wakonig.

Schade nur, dass manche denken, dass sie unbedingt die Mauern beschmieren oder sich anderweitig auslassen zu müssen. Wonderful castle, the whole castle complex can be hiked around! It's just a shame that some think that they absolutely have to smear the walls or do something else.
