Auch und gerade die Modelleisenbahnanlage im Obergeschoss ist wirklich sehenswert. Meine Empfehlung. Definitiv einen Besuch wert. A great museum. Created and designed with great attention to detail by many volunteers. Very nice staff who also take good care of children. Also and especially the model railroad system on the upper floor is really worth seeing. My recommendation. Definitely worth a visit.

Eine Güterlok und eine alte Lok sind zur Besichtigung vorhanden, diese darf man auch betreten und sich mal im Führerstand wie ein Lokführer fühlen. Im ersten Geschoss steht noch eine große Modelleisenbahnanlage, diese fährt aber nicht jeden Tag. Allerdings wenn sie fährt kann man stundenlang dasitzen und man sieht immer andere Züge. Very interesting museum and a lot for the children to touch and try out. A freight locomotive and an old locomotive are available for inspection, these can also be entered and sometimes feel like a train driver in the driver's cab. There is still a large model railway system on the first floor, but it doesn't run every day. However, when it drives you can sit for hours and you always see other trains.

Egész kicsi, de mégis két órát eltöltöttünk itt, tárlatvezetéssel megtanultunk vonatforgalmat irányítani, váltót kezelni, mozdonyt vezetni - mert a kiállított berendezések mozgathatók, kipróbálhatók - és ez hatalmas élmény! A must-have experience for train lovers! The best locomotive museum we've ever been to! We spent quite a few, yet two hours here, guided train traffic control, shift management, driving a locomotive - because the exhibited equipment can be moved and tested - and it is a huge experience!
f	funtastiker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr liebevoll geführtes kleines aber feines Technikmuseum. Unser Sohn wurde beigebracht wie man eine E-Lok fährt und Signale stellt. Auch die Modelleisenbahn ist sehr sehenswert. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. A very lovingly run small but fine technology museum. Our son was taught how to drive an electric locomotive and how to set signals. The model railway is also very worth seeing. We liked it very much.

Ein Angestellter hat alles dazu erklärt (Wie Funktioniert der Motor? Wie funktionieren die Schaltungen am Bahnhof? Usw.) Es gab im 1. Stockwerk Einen großen Raum mit Hunderten von Modellbahnen. Ich kann das Museum nur Weiterempfehlen. Super Ort! Really good place! First there were details about the development of the Tauern Railway. Then we came to 2 locomotives and a wagon. An employee explained everything about it (how does the motor work? How do the circuits at the train station work? Etc.) There was a large room on the first floor with hundreds of model railways. I can only recommend the museum. Great place!
