Das Gebäude war bei der Schlacht anno 1809 das Hauptquartier von Erzherzog Carl. Schöner Museumsgarten. Nice, historical museum that commemorates the Battle of the Wagram and also shows relics from home. The building was the headquarters of Archduke Carl during the battle of 1809. Nice museum garden.
A	Alexander Löblein-Vauquois on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein echtes Highlight. Nicht nur, daß man sich mehr als willkommen fühlt in dem kleinen Haus. Man wird betreut, wie wenn man einen Nachbarn besuchen würde; auch die Exponate sind wohl gesetzt und vermitteln ein sehr umfangreiches Bild von der Schlacht von Wagram und deren Begleitumständen. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt ist die separate Abteilung zur Ärchäologie des Schlachtfelds, den Ergebnissen der Grabungen, soweit bereits ermittelt. Ein Touchscreen läßt den Besucher in die Grabung Einblick nehmen. Die physischen Kollateralschäden durch Marsch und Gepäck, der meist zu Jungen Soldaten werden ebenso, wenn auch ein wenig kurz angedeutet. Richtig, richtig gut. Und wenn man es dann auch noch schafft, innerhalb der richtigen Jahreszeit dort zu sein ... Bestens! A real highlight. Not only that you feel more than welcome in the small house. You are looked after as if you were visiting a neighbor; The exhibits are well set and provide a very comprehensive picture of the Battle of Wagram and their attendant circumstances. Another highlight is the separate section on the archeology of the battlefield, the results of the excavations, where already determined. A touch screen lets the visitor take a look into the excavation. The physical collateral damage caused by march and baggage, mostly to young soldiers, are also hinted at albeit briefly. Right, really good. And if you can manage to be there in the right time of year ... Best!

Very nice museum, with some exhibits. A very nice guide who described everything great. A must if you are in Deutsch Wagram. Highly recommended.

Definitiv einen Besuch wert. Und Parkplätze finden sich in der Strasse auch ausreichend. A special gem, managed by a dedicated small team. Modern (multimedia installation for the grave finds) and traditional at the same time. Definitely worth a visit. And there are also enough parking spaces in the street.

The museum (and battlefield) is a simple short train ride from Vienna, and it is filled with many interesting relics from the battlefield. There was also an excellent multi-media display covering recent archeological findings on the battlefield. I highly recommend this museum to any student of history.
