G	Gustav Kafka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Museum ist mit Liebe zum Detail und recht einfallsreich gestaltet, z.B. bezahlt man den Eintritt an einem Schalter für die seinerzeitige Lohnauszahlung der Fabriksbediensteten. Es wird auf anschauliche Weise - aber ohne moralischen Zeigefinger - vermittelt, wie hart das Leben der Bediensteten und ihrer Familien damals war, und welche Distanz zwischen ihrem Leben und der Wohnkultur, Kleidung und Ausstattung bestand, in der sich die Eigentümer und höheren Angestellten in dieser Zeit bewegten. Sehr deutlich wird auch die Verflechtung solcher Betriebe mit den regionalen Gegebenheiten, den vorhandenen Ressourcen und der Verkehrsinfrastruktur dargestellt. Es lohnt sich, sowohl das Museum eingehend zu besichtigen, als auch - mit der durch den lokalen Straßenverkehr gebotenen Vorsicht - den gesamten Baukomplex entlangzugehen und die Baulichkeiten aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln zu betrachten. The museum is designed with attention to detail and quite imaginative, e.g. one pays the entrance at a counter for the former wage payment of the factory officials. It shows in a vivid way - but without a moral finger - how hard the life of the servants and their families was then, and what distance existed between their lives and the home decor, clothing and facilities in which the owners and senior employees live in Time moved. The interdependence of such companies with the regional conditions, the available resources and the transport infrastructure is also clearly shown. It is worthwhile to have a close look at the museum as well as - with the caution offered by local traffic - to walk the entire complex and to look at the buildings from different angles.

Wenn man im nördlichen Waldviertel unterwegs ist ein Muss!!! Great collection lovingly put together and compiled ...... A nice and uncomplicated tour with lots of background information ... If you are out and about in the northern Waldviertel it is a must!

Die beiden Damen, heute selbst für eine erkrankte Kollegin eingesprungen, haben sich größte Mühe gegeben. Love & Peace war ein Rückblick auf unsere Kindheit. Schade, dass die NÖ Card nicht für den Eintritt reicht, hoffentlich nimmt man diese sehr schöne Ausstellung ins Programm auf. That was really great, a well arranged exhibition, really nice. The two ladies, today even for a sick colleague jumped in, have made great efforts. Love & Peace was a retrospective of our childhood. Too bad that the NÖ Card is not enough for the entrance, hopefully you take this very beautiful exhibition in the program.
