Ich hatte Kontakt mit dem Künstler! Er ist zugleich Leiter der Kundenabwehrabteilung. Gerade dies macht den Charme welchen der ORF zu vermitteln versuchte!

Nach einem netten Bericht in Radio Tirol wurde ich auf diese Firma aufmerksam. Da ich für meine Taxifahrgäste immer auf der Suche nach besonderen Orten oder Handwerken zum Anschauen bin, wollte ich mir heute in Zirl diese Firma auf dem Rückweg von Innsbruck nach einer Flughafenfahrt anschauen. Die Homepage machte einen sehr schönen Eindruck, aber...... Unter der angegeben Adresse ist nur ein ganz normales altes Haus zu finden mit einer kaum leserlichen Hausnummer. (Gut für einen Notarzteinsatz, besonders im Dunkeln!!) Also rief ich die auf der Homepage angegebe Nummer an und wollte fragen, ob die Werkstatt vielleicht umgezogen ist. Nichts, nur ein Anrufbeantworter... Daraufhin rief ich die angegebene Nummer der Wiener Werkstatt an. Es meldete sich kurz angebunden ein Mann. Ob ich bei der Firma sei und mit dem Geschäftsführer spreche? Antwort: "ich bin der Künstler". Ich fragte, wo die Werkstatt sei und ob man besichtigen dürfe. Antwort: "Die Werkstatt ist im Haus, wir machen keine Werbung und es gibt nichts zum Besichtigen". Ich fragte, warum man dann solch eine schöne Homepage hat, die den Eindruck macht, dass man die schönen Stücke von den Fotos auch anschauen kann und vielleicht mal bei der Produktion zuschauen darf. "Wir wollen niemanden zum Besichtigen haben", war die unfreundliche Antwort. Auf mein "dankeschön, auf wiederhören" kam ein sehr unfreundliches "auf nie mehr wiederhören".... Liebes Radio Tirol, der Bericht über diese Firma in Zirl war ein absoluter Schuss in den Ofen!! Und ich werde keine Mühe haben, einen anderen, freundlichen Handwerksbetrieb zu finden. Noch zur Anmerkung: dass in Tirol oder vielleicht ganz Österreich am 8. Dezember Feiertag ist, kann ich in Deutschland nicht wissen. Ist aber auch kein Grund, am Telefon morgens um kurz vor 10 Uhr derart unfreundlich zu sein. Wie gesagt, das ist bestimmt nicht die einzige Mosaikfirma....

After a nice report in Radio Tirol I became aware of this company. Since I am always looking for special places or crafts for my taxi guests to look at, today I wanted to look at this company in Zirl on the way back from Innsbruck after an airport trip. The homepage made a very nice impression, but ...... Under the specified address is only a normal old house to find with a barely legible house number. (Good for an emergency medical service, especially in the dark !!) So I called the number given on the homepage and wanted to ask if the workshop may have moved. Nothing, just an answering machine ... Then I called the specified number of the Vienna workshop. Briefly a man answered. If I am with the company and talk to the manager? Answer: "I am the artist". I asked where the workshop was and if I could visit. Answer: "The workshop is in the house, we do not advertise and there is nothing to visit". I asked, why you have such a beautiful homepage, which gives the impression that you can watch the beautiful pieces of the photos and maybe even watch the production. "We do not want anyone to visit," was the unfriendly answer. On my "thank you, listen again" came a very unfriendly "never to hear again" .... Dear Radio Tirol, the report on this company in Zirl was an absolute shot in the oven! And I will have no trouble finding another, friendly craft shop. As a note: in Tyrol or maybe all of Austria on December 8 is a public holiday, I can not know in Germany. But it is also no reason to be so unfriendly on the phone in the morning at just before 10 o'clock. As I said, that is certainly not the only mosaic company ....
