Moorheilbad Harbach Gesundheits- & Rehabilitationszentrum - Bildbaumweg 1

Man kann sich hier kaum wohlfühlen, wenn man die ohnehin strengen, gesetzlichen Corona-Maßnahmen ums zehnfache verschärft. Freizeitaktivitäten wurden so gut wie alle gestrichen. Man bekommt FFP2 Masken zur Verfügung gestellt, jedoch keine aus heimischer Produktion, sondern den chinesischen Sondermüll. Am Ergometer und im Fitnessraum herrscht FFP2 Maskenzwang wider der gesetzlichen Regelung. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, auch das Personal sehr nett und wurde immer rasch bedient. Allerdings gab es kein Ei, weder gekocht noch als Eierspeise. Am Abend vermisste ich ein Salatbuffet. Bei den Menüs findet sich jeder etwas in der Auswahl und war auch sehr lecker. Ein großes Lob an die Reinigung, die täglich die Zimmer gereinigt haben und sehr freundlich waren. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel mit TV, Bett elekrisch verstellbar, Balkon, Dusche Fön WC, einen Tresor und genug Platz für Kleidung usw. Hier möchte ich auch die Therapeuten loben, die sehr bemüht waren und unter diesen Maßnahmen einen harten Job ausüben müssen und trotzdem immer freundlich waren. Aber das Management hat noch nie was von Wohlbefinden der Gäste gehört und sollte dringend nachgeschult werden. Kritische Gäste werden rhetorisch abgespeist und die Verantwortung auf den SV-Träger geschoben.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, obwohl diese es oft wirklich nicht leicht mit div. Patienten haben. Das Essen ist auch extrem lecker und es gibt eine tolle Auswahl. Dank Corona ist leider vieles mühselig geworden (nahezu überall Maskenpflicht, keine Besucher erlaubt, Fitnessraum gesperrt etc.), hier liegt die "Schuld" jedoch eindeutig beim Gesetzgeber und nicht am Moorheilbad Harbach. Sollte ich jemals wieder eine Reha benötigen komme ich gerne wieder!

Was soll man sagen: besser geht’s nicht. Essen traumhaft, viel Auswahl, sehr nett und bemüht, man fühlt sich willkommen. Aber am Ergometer mit der FFP2 Maske finde ich sehr bedenklich, denn lt aktueller Verordnung ist bei der Sportausübung keine Maskenpflicht, bitte überdenkt das, denn es ist sehr anstrengend mit Maske. Ansonsten hab ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt und freue mich auf ein Wiedersehen in der Zukunft.

Not enough quality mud.

I was in this place for 3 weeks rehab. I liked the food, and restaurant staff were always courteous, forthcoming and friendly. The therapists were excellent, resourceful, patient and really knew what they were doing. The reception staff and other admin staff were also amazingly helpful and friendly. Things that need improvement: the rooms are clean, however the beds not up to standard, especially for a rehab facility specializing in orthopeadics! Also the construction is cheap with no noise insulation between rooms! The doctors were generally competent except for the orthopeadic specialist who was a waste of time and money. The administration goes to some length in organzing activities for residents, for example one evening the Harbach local brass band came to play, and they make one aware of activities taking place in the area, for example the Don Kosaken choir in a nearby village. The facility itself is quite big, and one can see a lot was added along the years which makes navigating quite hard - especially the first few days - but everything is well marked as well. It is situated very close to the Czech border and reachable in a about 2 hrs drive from Vienna. It is about 800 meters from the village of Harbach and about 7 km from Weitra, it is close to the towns of Zwettle and Gmünd, but facilitybitself is surrounded by woods and nice landscape. It is generally quiet except the streets can also get busy at times. Again great staff and praise for them cannot be high enough!

Big recommendation! I enjoyed every single day of my stay, as everything was great: the therapies, the food (delicious), the room, the friendly staff - and also the beautiful surrounding landscape. Even the weather was surprisingly nice for November - sunny almost every day. On top, I felt totally save concerning the Corvid-19 virus, due to the excellent security management. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
