★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Route is heen- en weer- weg. Het enige mooie uitzichtpunt was het einde van de route. Verder eentonig door het bos wandelen. Pittige wandeling voor kinderen.
 Route is back and forth. The only beautiful viewpoint was the end of the route. Continue to walk monotonously through the forest. Difficult walk for children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Montan-Wanderweg beginnt 50 m unterhalb der Bergstation der Marienbergbahn und endet 1 km östlich der Talstation (natürlich kann man ihn auch umgekehrt begehen). Zahlreiche Info-Tafeln weisen auf die 500-jährige Geschichte des Erzabbaus hin. Einen kurzen Abstecher auf den Gipfels des Schachtkopfes sollte man nicht verpassen, da man mit einem schönen Ausblick belohnt wird.
The Montan hiking trail starts 50 m below the mountain station of the Marienbergbahn and ends 1 km east of the valley station (of course you can also do it the other way round). Numerous information boards point to the 500-year history of ore mining. You should not miss a short detour to the summit of the shaft head, as you will be rewarded with a beautiful view.
