Eingebettet in die gotische Altstadt bietet dieses Fest für Mittelalterfans, auch für Tagesausflügler die Neues erleben wollen, alles was das Herz begehrt. Mehrere Bühnen, Kulinarik vom Feinsten, Handwerkerware und verschiedene Aktivitäten für Groß und Klein, zb. Bogenschießen, Axtwerfen oder, für die kleinen Gäste, Ritter spielen auf dem Holzpferd! Das Ritterturnier, welches extra bezahlt werden muss, ca 6,-, kommt in seiner Qualität zwar nicht an die Großen der Szene, Kaltenberg zb, ran, liegt allerdings derart toll, direkt neben der Stadtmauer, dass die 6,- mehr als gerechtfertigt sind. Das einzige Manko: der letzte Zug nach Wien fährt ca um 21:00 The highlight of the medieval market season. UND ein MEGALOB an die Sauberkeit der Klos, jetzt bereue ich, meinem Mann abgeraten zu haben, der wäre heuer das erste Mal dabeigewesen und ich wollte ihm sein erstes Eggenburg so zeigen, wie es "normal" ist, ich hatte befürchtet, er ist vielleicht enttäuscht, bitte verzeiht mir, ich hätte es besser wissen müssen Starting with impressive controls and counts, you did something unbelievable, the ambience, the artists ... Leider hat die Essens- Versorgung am Abend und die nicht vorhandene Möglichkeit sich vor der Bühne hinzusetzen nicht unbedingt zum Wohlfühlen bei längerem Aufenthalt beigetragen. Das Programm war klein aber nett und bemüht. Für die Kids war wirklich einiges los und die Stände waren liebevoll gestaltet. Viel Handwerk. Das kein Mikrofon da war und die armen Musiker immer schreien mussten war leider nicht so toll. Die feuershow war mit Abstand die beste Show die ich die letzte Jahre gesehen habe! Corona turned out to be small and still tried very hard. The fact that there was no microphone and the poor musicians always had to scream was unfortunately not so great. The fire show was by far the best show I've seen in the last few years!
