F	Fritz K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Etwas Abseits größerer Touristenattraktionen, befindet sich diese hochinteressante Ausstellung zum Thema Totentanz. Zunächst dachte ich die Ausstellung sei geschlossen und klingelte wie gewünscht am Eingang. Keine 2 Minuten später erschien der Pfaffer und schloss auf. Es folgte eine sehr angenehme und informative Einführung in das Thema mittelalterlicher Fresken und der mehrschichtigen Bedeutung und Aussage hinter der Thematik "Totentanz". So wurden ich und meine Begleiter eins und andere Mal mit überraschenden Einblicken auch in Puncto Restaurationtechniken und Konservierungen von Fresken gewahr. Eine anschließende Führung durch die angegliederte Kunstausstellung war auch sehr spannend und unsere Führung absolut kompetent und freundlich. Da sich die Ausstellung zwar mit der Kärntencard "quasi kostenlos" besuchen lässt, haben wir uns zu einer satten Spende entschieden. Wir fanden es TOP! This highly interesting exhibition on the dance of death is located a little away from the major tourist attractions. At first I thought the exhibition was closed and rang the bell at the entrance as requested. Less than 2 minutes later the priest appeared and unlocked the door. This was followed by a very pleasant and informative introduction to the topic of medieval frescoes and the multi-layered meaning and statement behind the topic of "Dance of Death". So I and my companions became aware of one time or another with surprising insights into restoration techniques and the conservation of frescoes. A subsequent tour through the affiliated art exhibition was also very exciting and our tour was absolutely competent and friendly. Since the exhibition can be visited "almost free of charge" with the Kärnten Card, we decided to make a generous donation. We thought it was TOP!
