-relativ teuer für eine Mensa, selbst mit Vergünstigungen (z.B. weil man häufig hier ist) zahlt man für ein Gericht 5€ aufwärts, mit Vorspiese oder Tagesteller gerne 7+€. In Deutschland kostet ähnliches 1€ bis max. 3€
-das Essen schmeckt bestenfalls mittelmäßig
-das Menü ist jede Woche das gleiche und hat sich vermutlich seit der Unigründung nicht mehr verändert
-die Einrichtung ist das einzige was älter ist als das Menü. Klein, wenig Platz. (auch wenn das Essen natürlich das wichtigste ist)
Warum isst man trotzdem in der Technik Mensa? Weil es in der Gegend einfach nichts gibt: man hat nur die Wahl zwischen Froschkönig (sehr gutes Essen, aber 12€+), neunb (ebenfalls gut, 12€+), Techcafe (okay, aber kleine Portionen und eher teuer), MPreis/Baguette oder Bäcker Ruetz. - Sprich also entweder teuer essen oder MPreis/Ruetz gehen.
Probably the worst canteen in Tyrol.
-relatively expensive for a canteen, even with discounts (e.g. because you are here often) you pay €5 and up for a meal, with appetizers or a daily special like €7+. In Germany something similar costs 1€ to max. 3€
-The food tastes mediocre at best
-the menu is the same every week and has probably not changed since the university was founded
-the decor is the only thing older than the menu. Small, little space. (even if the food is of course the most important thing)
Why do you still eat in the Technik Mensa? Because there is simply nothing in the area: you only have the choice between Froschkönig (very good food, but 12€+), Neuenb (also good, 12€+), Techcafe (okay, but small portions and rather expensive), MPreis /Baguette or Baker Ruetz. - So say either eat expensively or go to MPreis/Ruetz.
