Es befindet sich in den Leoganger Steinbergen auf 2189m Seehöhe auf dem Weg vom Hochzint auf das Birnhorn, dem höchsten Gipfel in den Leoganger Steinbergen. Man muss auf diesem Steig durch das imposante Felsentor hindurch. Besucht am 17.10.2018. The Melkerloch natural monument is one of the most impressive natural rock gates in the Austrian Alps. It is located in the Leoganger Steinberge at 2189m above sea level on the way from Hochzint to the Birnhorn, the highest peak in the Leoganger Steinberge. You have to go through the imposing rock gate on this path. Last visited on October 17, 2018.
P	Péter Nok on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gyönyörű kilátás és csodás képződmény,sajnos az idő rossz volt. A passauer hüttétől nincs már messze. Beautiful view and wonderful formation, unfortunately the weather was bad. It's not far from the passauer hut.

Gerne wieder. Nicht für Kinder empfohlen (evtl. so ab 12 Jahren, wenn erfahren im Bergsteigen) Fantastic backdrop. The large "hall" inspires to take photos. While it's a nice walk, it shouldn't be a problem for the experienced. Gladly again. Not recommended for children (maybe 12+ if experienced in mountaineering)
