★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice and helpful staff. The hotel is very clean and organized. We stayed in a large room and we just missed a few more places to store things but it was ok. The location isn't great but not bad (15min walk to the city center/5min walk to nearest metro/tram station). Although it is a quiet location, the surroundings feel safe to walk late at night. Good internet connection and cable TV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked the room and how is the hotel designed but the reception is simply chaos. I made a booking for 3 rooms. The reception was looking after them for ages and the personal is not nice.
Also they don't have "Do not disturb signs".
Breakfast is poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb location in terms of connectivity you have metro and trams very closeby, just 500 mins walk from the hotel.
With reference to the rooms a very practical and simplistic design which addreses your requirements. We had breakfast too included and again not too fancy yet practical food varieties. Bonus they provide small kitchen room if you have to keep some stuff fridge or prepare something quick yourself
In terms of prices, I visited during the Christmas Eve period, the prices are unbeatable no other hotel could match their pricing without comprising quality and comfort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Meininger Downtown Vienna Sissi is in walking distance to all places of interest. The room was big enough for a few days und the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and the sliding shower doors were leaky. There was just one towel for each person. The breakfast room is like a station concourse, noisy and has uncomfortably furnishings. There is no service, every guest must clean the tables and clear away the dishes by themselves. We do not expect this at a hotel. So the costs for the breakfast is not justified.

It was pretty decent hotel. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. They even have a kitchen where guests can store there food in fridge, cook meals on electric stove, etc. The supermarket is very close to the hotel around 2-3 minutes walk.
The only issue is that, they do not have "do not disturb" signage.
Otherwise, would definitely recommend and stay here again.

the hotel also has dorms so be prepared for (in my case, well-behaved) teenage tour groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice stay. The room was clean and the staff was polite. However, we were fleeing Ukraine and were charged full price. During checkout, we overheard the receptionist tell another customer that people fleeing Ukraine receive a 20% discount and free breakfast which we were not given. When I asked why we hadn’t received the discount, she just said she didn’t know and there was nothing she could do. Will not be staying here again and will not recommend to others we know leaving Ukraine.
