Bekannt ist vor allem die barocke Wallfahrtskirche St. Vitus, mit beeindruckenden Malereien am Deckengewölbe, die der Maler Felix Barazutti zwischen 1914 und 1921 schuf. Die Figuren tragen die Gesichtszüge seiner Mitarbeiter, Geldgeber und Personen aus der Region. Unter anderem ist auch Karl Marx abgebildet, der mit erhobener Hand zu Arbeitern redet. Außerdem besitzt die Kirche eine Orgel von Christoph Egedacher, der sie 1688/89 für Mariazell erbaut hatte, und die 1753 hier aufgestellt wurde. Die Kirche ist dem Hl. Vitus (15. Juni, Veitstag) geweiht.
St. Veit am Vogau:
The baroque pilgrimage church of St. Vitus is particularly well known, with impressive paintings on the vaulted ceiling created by the painter Felix Barazutti between 1914 and 1921. The figures bear the facial features of his employees, donors and people from the region. Among other things, Karl Marx is also depicted, speaking to workers with his hand raised. The church also has an organ by Christoph Egedacher, who built it for Mariazell in 1688/89, which was erected here in 1753. The church is dedicated to St. Vitus (June 15, Veitstag).
