★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war heute in Kittsee um Marillen zu kaufen. Und eigentlich aus dem heraus ,weil auf Burgenland heute so darüber berichtet wurde. Es gibt Marillen in Hülle und Fülle !! Aber als wir dort waren gab es weder Hinweis wo bzw. einen Stand wo wir erfuhren das es keine mehr gibt !! Wir haben dann erfahren das man nur Marillen bekommt wenn man sie vorher bestellt hat !!! Man sollte auch über dieses informieren!!! Egal wir fuhren wieder retour nach Eisenstadt und haben dann am Weg ganz viele Verkaufsstände mit super leckeren Marillen entdeckt also den Weg nach Kittsee kann man sich sparen.
 Today I was in Kittsee to buy apricots. And actually because of that, because it was reported in Burgenland today. There are apricots in abundance !! But when we were there there was no indication of where or a booth where we found out that there were no more !! We then found out that you can only get apricots if you have ordered them beforehand! One should also inform about this !!! Regardless, we drove back to Eisenstadt and then discovered a lot of stalls with delicious apricots on the way, so you can save yourself the trip to Kittsee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seit drei Jahren versuche ich die „berühmten“ Marillen aus Kittsee zu bekommen. Allerdings war auch heute der Verkaufsstand wiedermal geschlossen, obwohl ich innerhalb der angeschriebenen Öffnungszeiten dort war. Die angeschriebenen Telefonnummer ist entweder gar nicht erreichbar oder es kommt gleich die Ansage „Mobilbox voll“.
Zum Glück gibt’s auch sehr gute Marillen am Neusiedlersee. Dort stehen alle paar Kilometer geöffnete Verkaufsstände. Ich werde nicht mehr nach Kittsee fahren!
For three years I have been trying to get the “famous” apricots from Kittsee. However, the sales booth was closed again today, even though I was there within the stated opening times. The telephone number that was written to is either not reachable at all or the announcement "Mobilbox full" comes straight away.
Fortunately, there are also very good apricots on Lake Neusiedl. There are stalls open every few kilometers. I will not go to Kittsee anymore!
