Die Schlacht bei Kressenbrunn war eine erfolgreiche Entscheidungsschlacht des böhmischen Königs Ottokar II. über die Ungarn unter König Bela IV. Sie ereignete sich im Juli 1260 im Südosten des Marchfeldes bei dem Dorf Kressenbrunn, heute Groißenbrunn.
Next to the parking lot of the Marienbründels is the monument of the Battle of Groissenbrunn.
The Battle of Kressenbrunn was a successful final battle of the Bohemian King Ottokar II on the Hungarians under King Bela IV. It occurred in July 1260 in the southeast of the Marchfeld at the village Kressenbrunn, today Groissenbrunn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich weiss nicht was ich mir erwartet habe, aber irgendwie wirkte dieser Ort, trotz schönen Wetters, ein wenig trostlos. Ich kenne aber nicht die Geschichte zu Marienbründl. Vielleicht waren meine Erwartungen zu hoch gegriffen.
I don't know what I was expecting, but somehow this place seemed a little bleak, despite the nice weather. But I don't know the story of Marienbründl. Maybe my expectations were too high.
