★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo , tra i mercatini di Natale di Innsbruck, non è nè il più grande nè il più bello. Ma alcune particolarità per me lo rendono invece molto gradevole: innanzitutto lo spazio, che qui abbonda, a differenza di quando ci si trova nei vicoli (peraltro molto pittoreschi), e poi la luce soffusa dagli alberi (purtroppo artificiali) interamente ricoperti di lucine.
Ci troviamo nella famosa via dei negozi, qui si trova anche l'Hard Rock Cafe, oltre ad altri ristoranti.
Un bel posto da cui ovviamente è d'obbligo passare se ci si trova a Innsbruck per i "mercatini di Natale"
This is neither the biggest nor the most beautiful of the Innsbruck Christmas markets. But some peculiarities for me make it very pleasant: first of all the space, which here abounds, unlike when you are in the alleys (which are very picturesque), and then the soft light from the trees (unfortunately artificial) entirely covered with lights.
We are located in the famous shopping street, here is also the Hard Rock Cafe, as well as other restaurants.
A nice place to visit if you are in Innsbruck for the "Christmas markets".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the "Stage 12 Hotel by Penz" which faces onto this street. A perfect location to explore Innsbruck. The Xmas Markets were just outside our hotel with a wonderful Xmas atmosphere, sights, sounds and smells, everything you would associate with a European Christmas. So quite a novelty for us Australians where Xmas is typically above 30°C! Mulled wines, tasty takeaways, interesting souvenirs and handcrafts and stunning architecture and history surrounding us. The views of the surrounding snow covered mountains all around us on clear days were extraordinary and almost too perfect in the clear air.
