Nur 5 Gehminuten von Hotel Guglwald entfernt Hike to the iron curtain. Interestingly designed. Everybody should look - hopefully this time will never come again. Just a 5-minute walk from Hotel Guglwald

Liegt direkt am Panoramaweg. Beautifully designed memorial right on the border with the Czech Republic. Great panorama from up there. Easily accessible from the main road. Is located directly on the panorama trail.

Ich denke ist für die interessanter, die diese Zeit miterlebt haben und sich noch an "das Ende der Welt im Osten" erinnern können. In Zeiten von Corona haben wir das jetzt ja auch manchmal wieder. Very well done, reminiscent of the horrors of the Cold War. I think it is more interesting for those who lived through this time and can still remember "the end of the world in the east". Sehenswert, wenn auch die regionalen Auswirkungen der Grenze und des Grenzfalls an diesem Ort nicht behandelt werden. Je tady popsána historie studené války a železné opony navíc vše v českém jazyce. K tomu všemu zde naleznete krásný výhled na přírodní scenérie. If you have a way around and are interested in at least a bit of war history this stop is made just for you. It describes the history of the Cold War and the Iron Curtain in addition to everything in Czech. In addition, you will find a beautiful view of the natural scenery.

Jim se podařilo si nakonec vybojovat ve vyrabovane zemi po válce svobodu, kdežto CR je se s tím nesrovnala doteď...bohužel... A reminder of the horrors in the Czech Republic, which also hit Austria to an extent unknown in the Czech Republic. Soviet atrocities on the Austrian nation lasted 10 years. In the end, Jim managed to fight for freedom in the looted country after the war, while the CR had not been able to cope with it until now ... unfortunately ...
