Luftburg - Kolarik im Prater - Waldsteingartenstraße 128

The only place in whole Vienna serving 100% Organic + Traditional Austrian Food (Goose these days). Even for me as a local its one if my handful of special places, since they are the only ones serving considerable sizes of organic meat prepared like it should be. I sew comments mentioning high prices, but if you know how expensive normal Austrian Restaurant are, their prices are normal. Take Schweizer Haus for example: Luftburg has same prices + nicer & better service + healthy and responsible food. (Actually excellent prices for those who value good organic meat, without chemicals toxic for us & our loved children/or if you value the protection of our bees≈agriculture ≈humans). Was there many times & today we had goose (a rare chance for me as a 100% organic consumer) & a treat to us at these times. The portion was big but seemed thin at the beginning until we started eating. A quarter of a Goose seems to be more than half a chicken. + sauce + dumplings it was delicious! I had to slow down in the end because it was so much (and the bird needed proper handling at later stages). Still full hours later & still want more of that sauce & skin! Echt gut gemacht Familie Kolarik, ein seltener Stunt den ihr da aufgebaut habt! (Gibts iagnwo bei eich an diskretn Knoupf fia mehr vo dieser netten soßn?^^) Nice Lemonades they had, they seem to change the menu from time to time!

Casual atmosphere, but, on my opinion, the waiter was too meddlesome. More respect to unknown people would be more appropriate. Concerning foods: my chicken had two similar pieces, and they had, oddly enough, completely different taste. And something green, some veggie, was missing for that dish - a cucumber, perhaps? The rest was all right.

Great service and excellent food...all organic is such a bonus. We went twice.

The place was good , the food was very good. It was a shame for the service. The waiter saw that we were English and didn't provide us with a English Menu, saw us struggling and didn't help. No smile nor friendly attitude. We're staying in the area for 4 nights and would have been happy to come back for the food but will not do so because of the service - a smile is for free but it costed the restaurant and the waiter tips and few nights dinners.

The location it is great, it is in the Prater park. The service is poor, waiter does not speak English so strange in this perspective. Food is a bit pricey and exaggerated too salty actually I was amazed why they are doing that. The presentation of the food it is special, so overall it is a good experience not entirely from food purpose. Don't miss the mirrors from the way to toilets it is a good opportunity to enjoy yourself.

Family friendly, large selections on children's menu. The restaurant has huge inside and outside seating area (beautiful beer garden), outside play area with various air castles (Luftburg) for children for an extra fee of roughly 4 EUR. The food is not so tasty, in my opinion, I had their Backhendlsalat, and it was a bit fat and potato salad turned to pure. The french fries were ok though.

Amazing restaurant at the end of the Prater. The food is extremely delicious ??? Absolutely loved the fact that it's a 100% organic restaurant! The range of choices on their menu is very wide, and if you are looking for traditional Austrian foods as well as other dishes, it's the perfect place to go. Very friendly staff and awesome service! We had a great experience there and I can recommend it to everyone!

The food was excellent, some of the best goulash I've tasted. Unfortunately it was busy (Sunday lunch time) and possibly as a result the service was slow otherwise it would've been 5* review.
