★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Kapelle selbst wurde 1676 auf den Resten der erstmals 1173 urkundlich erwähnten Burg Chaffenberch errichtet.
Mit diesem Hintergrund war ich natürlich schon sehr neugierig und wurde bitter enttäuscht da ich vor verschlossenen Türen stand. Echt Schade. Die Kapelle befindet sich 5 Gehminuten oberhalb der Burg Oberkapfenberg.
 The chapel itself was built in 1676 on the remains of Chaffenberch Castle, first mentioned in 1173.
With this background I was of course very curious and was bitterly disappointed because I was standing in front of closed doors. Too bad. The chapel is a 5-minute walk above Oberkapfenberg Castle.
