 Great location for swimming and hiking. Apartment well equipped. The homeowners are very nice and family-friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Amazing place created by amazing people! Beautiful house, apartments and huge garden, only 2 minutes from lake Wolfgangsee. This object is perfectly located - close to the lake and forest, but also close to St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang in Salzkammergut. Ideal place for romantic trip as well as for family with children vacations. Apartments are very clean, well equipped and really nice with perfect Austrian design of the Alpine hut! Honestly, we could not imagine better place for our stay in Salzkammergut. Evidently, the owners created this place with big passion and heart! Chapeau bas!. Negative: We could not find something what was not good. Everything was great!.

We've spent overall 4 weeks in the Loitzbauer Bauernhof with our little daughter. And this was one of the most amazing experiences we've made so far when on holidays with the kid!
Christina and Wolfgang are extremely warm-hearted hosts and they both made our family feel like home or at least like visiting good old friends.
The house and the apartments are spacious, decorated with that special farm charm and absolutely clean (a compliment from a cleaning freak like myself!). It also has literally everything one needs in order to rest but also to cook or whatsoever.
And of course the location is something very close to a paradise. The lake is a stone's throw away from the house and the walk over there is super safe. Also the mountains and attractions for kids or adults are really close by in order to make it with the bike. Same is true for groceries or a butcher (worth a visit at least once!).
Our family cannot wait for the next summer in order to enjoy our holidays that much again. Absolutely recommended experience.
