Es wäre schön, wenn rund um die Wanderroute ein paar Bänke mehr stehen würden, damit sich ältere Leute auch zwischendurch ausruhen können. Auf jedenfall ein toller Wandertip. ? ? Parkplatz vorhanden A wonderful place in the middle of nature. Listen to the rush of the water and linger to recharge your batteries. It would be nice if there were a few more benches around the hiking route so that older people can relax in between. Definitely a great hiking tip. ? ? Parking space available
M	Michaela Bauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herrlich schöne und kurze Wanderung. Wenig Menschen unterwegs. Da kann man die Natur und die Stille echt genießen. Gutes Schuhwerk nicht vergessen, da die Holzstiegen bei Nässe doch etwas rutschig sein können. Wonderful and short hike. Few people on the way. You can really enjoy nature and the silence there. Do not forget good footwear, as the wooden stairs can be a bit slippery when wet.
W	Waldmädchen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Wasserfall kann auf Holzstegen und -treppen begangen werden, schöne Anlage, oben, über dem Wasserfall fließt ein romantischer Bach mit herrlichen Radtplätzchen und es schließen einige Wanderwege an. Man kann auch nur vom Lohnbachfall Parkplatz aus eine mini-Runde hin und zurück gehen. Die 12km Wanderrunde von Schönbach aus kann ich nicht so empfehlen, da sie in großen Teilen auf der Straße verläuft, das fand ich gar nicht schön. Allerdings kommt man bei der Römerbrücke vorbei, und Wiesen voller Faltern, also vielleicht doch mal ansehen :)... Gute Schuhe sind schon empfehlenswert. Im Bereich des Wasserfalls BITTE auf Kinder achten! Zum Teil gibt es nicht viel Absturzsicherung, und die großen Felsen (bei Niedrigwasser verläuft der Bach unter den Steinen,da ist dann kaum ein Wasserfall zu sehen) sind nicht zum klettern, schon gar nicht für Kinder. Schwupps, zack, Bein gebrochen oder Kind in den Felsen verschwunden, liegt's drunter im Bach, man kann sich vorstellen, wie das ausgehen kann. Wasserfall auch unter der Woche (ich war Anfang Juni) sehr gut besucht, ein einsames Plätzchen ist es nicht. The waterfall can be climbed on wooden walkways and stairs, beautiful facility, at the top, above the waterfall, a romantic stream flows with wonderful bike spots and there are some hiking trails. You can also just go there and back for a mini-round from the Lohnbachfall car park. I can't really recommend the 12km hike from Schönbach, as it runs largely on the road, which I didn't find nice at all. However, you pass the Roman Bridge and meadows full of butterflies, so maybe take a look:) ... Good shoes are recommended. PLEASE watch out for children in the area of the waterfall! Sometimes there is not much fall protection, and the large rocks (when the water is low, the stream runs under the stones, there is hardly a waterfall to be seen) are not for climbing, especially not for children. Hush, bang, broken leg or child disappeared in the rock, it's lying underneath in the creek, you can imagine how it could end. Waterfall also very well attended during the week (I was at the beginning of June), it is not a lonely place.

Easy and flat 20 minutes walk from the parking lot to the waterfalls. Longer loop walks available from this location.
