Built at the beginning of the thirteenth century, with its 28 meters high it is one of the most impressive fortified gates in Central Europe.
It is one of the symbols of the city of Freistadt.

So schön alt ist das schöne linzertor.
Ist einfach eine schöne Sehenswürdigkeit Freistadt.
Hat auch eine Uhr die was leider falsch geht.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das schöne Linzertor ist wahrlich ein Wahrzeichen in Freistadt. Gebaut im 13. Jahrhundert im Spätgotischen Stil ist es einer der mächtigsten Stadttürme in ganz Europa. Es ist natürlich Denkmalschutz an diesem großen Tor. Sehr empfehlenswertes Denkmal in der sehr alten Stadt.
The beautiful Linzertor is truly a landmark in Freistadt. Built in the late Gothic style in the 13th century, it is one of the most powerful city towers in Europe. It is of course a listed building on this large gate. Highly recommended monument in the very old city.
