★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entlang der neuen Stadtgrenze geltend per 1.1.1892 wurde am Fuß des Bierhäuslberges 1897 eine Kapelle als Ersatz für die bei der Erweiterung Wiens zerstörte Mariahilfer Linienkapelle errichtet. Der Bau wurde erst durch den Liniencapellen Bauverein ermöglicht. Dies erkennt man an den Gedenktafeln an der Kapelle mit einer langen Liste von Unterstützern und Sponsoren. Die neue Mariahilfer Linienkapelle sowie das Gelände unterhalb waren als prachtvoller Park ausgestaltet. Heute überwuchern Bäume und Sträucher das Gelände, die Kapelle ist nur schwer zu finden.
Along the new city boundary valid as of 1.1.1892, a chapel was built at the foot of the Bierhäuslberg in 1897 to replace the Mariahilfer line chapel, which was destroyed during the expansion of Vienna. The construction was made possible only by the Liniencapellen Bauverein. This can be seen in the memorial plaques at the chapel with a long list of supporters and sponsors. The new Mariahilfer line chapel and the area below were designed as a magnificent park. Today trees and bushes overgrow the terrain, the chapel is difficult to find.
