Buschenschank mit geschmackvollen, selbst hergestellten Essen. Sehr guter Wein, freundliche Mitarbeiter, alles in allem ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

Sehr schöner Heuriger mit gutem Essen. Außer Milchprodukte alles aus eigener Produktion. Service Top und sehr freundlich. Grosse Portionen zu gutem Preis.

Netter mostheuriger, qualitativ sehr gute Speisen und Getränke, sehr nette Bedienung, jederzeit wieder.

Freundliches Familienunternehmen mit eigener Erzeugung. Ich finde es gut, dass die Speisen zum Tisch gebracht werden und man sie nicht selber holen muss. Das Essen ist sehr schön angerichtet. Die Fleisch-Käseplatte ist der Hammer. Es sind soviel verschiedene Köstlichkeiten auf dem Teller, dass man gar nicht weiss was man zuerst kosten soll. Ein echt empfehlenswertes Heurigenlokal!

Another wonderful memory with my wife, Susanne. Thanks to her encouragement regards my work at Compaq and my boss’s (Brian) direction that I was able to take her on this business trip to Bad Tatzmandorf, Austria. During the day while I taught the classes I had designed at work, she scoped our places to see and things to do. We stayed after work was fine so we could do a few extra things and visited castles, drank Appel Most, ate Schmaltzbrot mit Zwiebeln, and drove west across Austria and then east into Hungary. The sweetest little lady gave us a bunch of grapes freshly picked from her yard and washed from her manual pump well. She spoke no English, German, French or Spanish which exhausted our combined language set. So while we kept eating, at her insistence (in Magyar), we also kept thanking her as each grape exploded like sunshine in the mouth. That was more proof positive that people are inherently good. The bad ones (the ones we hear about) have suffered some terrible trauma that’s twisted them. But those who remain innocent also remain good to to bone. Thank you to her, to the three women at the Post where I changed some money and bought some stamps with the third woman (a teenager studying German in her High School) translated for us to the ladies, one of who changed money and one of who sold stamps. From the same desk, but through two different windows about four (4) feet apart. And each had to do their part though all the materials were within easy reach of both. I later found out that was so neither woman went without work. Remnants of the age of communismus and truly funny though actually very compassion and fair. Thank you also to the staff where we stayed, my boss and his wife for befriending us, my wife for being my strongest supporter, and cheer leader. Without her I’d be nothing. What a wonderful memory this is for me of a time when life was about as perfect as it ever got for me and stayed so for a few more years. With loving kindness to all those who encouraged me, helped me along the good way that allowed me to share these beautiful things with Susanne whom I still love so dearly. And thanks to her for all the fine things she has done for me, and all she has taught me, and all her efforts to save me from myself. May you all be well and happy and peaceful!
