★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have registered an appointment in order to get a new passport. Couple of weeks before coming to Vienna I called the embassy to ask what documents I should bring. I have assumed that they will do the passport photo at the embassy, but just to be sure I have EXPLICITLY asked, if I should bring passport photos with me. Embassy employee said that I have to. In the end 20€ paid for new photos were wasted for nothing, since they didn't accept the printed ones and made new ones at the embassy.
And just to add - they rip off 100€ for a passport which is delivered in 1,5 MONTHS, whereas in Lithuania you pay 71€ for a passport which is made in 1 day, and 57€ for 5-day one..
